
π This course is called Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate, and it has 3 (three) peer-graded assignments. It contains four weeks. And if you are interested in UX research, give this course more attention because it will teach you everything you need to know about it.

Week One

Module One
In this module, you will be introduced to the course, and then using a tool called Sharpen, you will choose your portfolio project prompt, and then you will learn about collaboration and feedback on portfolio projects.
Module Two
In this module, you will understand empathy in UX design, then empathize with users, then you will recruit interview participants which is optional, and then determine research goals and questions and then you will prepare for user interviews, interview users, and then conduct user interviews which all of them are also optional.
Module Three
This module is also optional, though I very highly suggest you to take it. During this module, you will learn what is called empathy maps and then build an empathy map
Module Four
In this module, you will identify user pain points, then they will give you an optional reading about products that address pain points, including how AirBnB and Google Maps and Fonts teams have considered the pain points of their users and redesigned their products based on these pain-points. I recommend you read it.
Module Five
In this module, you will understand what is called personas, then learn more about personas, and finally, you will say goodbye to this week and submit your assignment (Create personas for your portfolio project)
Week Two

Module One
In this module, you will be introduced to the week, and then you will craft user stories, then read more about user stories, then learn edge cases and how to consider them and finally, Ayan will share with you real-world examples of edge cases.
Module Two
In this module, you will create a user journey map. And then read optionally more about user journey map slides.
Module Three
In this module you will consider accessibility when empathizing, and also consider accessibility during user research, then understand the curb cut effect. and finally submit your weekly assignment (Create a user journey map for your portfolio project)
Week Three

Module One
In this module, you will be introduced to the week, and then you will learn then create problem statements then define problem statements, then optionally read more about defining user problems. You will also learn and define hypothesis statements.
Module Two
In this module, you will learn and determine what is called a value proposition.
Module Three
In this module, you will learn how big a deal psychology is in UX design, then you will explore psychology principles that influence design, and finally, you will answer the questions of the weekly test (Define user problems). There are peer no peer-graded assignments this week.
Week Four

In this module, you will be introduced to the week, and then you will understand design ideation and read more about design ideation, after that, you will learn how to explore lots of ideas, you will also recognize business needs during design ideation
Module Two
In this module, you will scope the competition, then you will read more about competitive audits, and understand the limits to competitive audits. Then you will take steps to conduct a competitive audit, after that, you will read more on steps to conduct a competitive audit, and finally, you will learn how to present a competitive audit and use insights from competitive audits to ideate.
Module Three
In this final module, you will learn some techniques called How Might We and Crazy Eights to ideate, you will also consider user journeys during ideation and finally, you will say goodbye to this week and submit your assignment (Create a competitive audit and report for your portfolio project).
